Database Management
Religare Technova provides services for management of database environment to maintain performance at optimum levels. It does so by undertaking end-to-end management of databases on an ongoing basis to ensure smooth functioning of the same and tasks including, but not limited to, managing changes to database schema, disk space, storage, user roles.
It monitors performance and does tuning of the databases on a regular basis including, preventive maintenance of the database as required. It is important to manage database upgrade or patch upgrade as and when required with minimal downtime and conduct regular backups for all databases in accordance with the backup and archive policies and conduct recovery whenever required with appropriate permissions. Religare Technova takes care of testing of backup media which should be undertaken from time to time to ensure availability of data. It also uses DBA tools related to performing database creation, maintenance, and database monitoring tasks. This would not be a frequent exercise hence a pay per instance is advised.
