Mr. Malvinder Mohan Singh
Mr. Malvinder Mohan Singh is the Chairman, CEO & MD, Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited ("RLL"). A radical thinker, known for his aggressive style of management, he has been a trail blazer in consummating inorganic deals across geographies. Most recently, in a landmark deal, he spearheaded the coming together of Ranbaxy and Daiichi Sankyo (a leading Japanese innovator) to create a global pharmaceutical powerhouse.

Mr. Singh is a member of the CII and is co-chairman of the CII National Committee on Intellectual Property Rights, Research and Development, Technology and Innovation. Mr. Singh is also a member of the Board of Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. He is a member of the Young Global Leaders Forum (YGL), an initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF); serves on the Board of the INSEAD Global India Council and is also a member of the Board of the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER). Mr. Singh is on the Board of Visitors of Duke University.

He graduated in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and holds an MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, U.S.A.

Mr. Shivinder Mohan Singh
Mr. Shivinder Mohan Singh is the Managing Director of Fortis Healthcare Limited and Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre. He is also one of the principal promoters and Director on the Board of Super Religare Laboratories Limited.

Mr. Singh began his career as a Management Trainee with Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited in 1996. He progressively advanced his professional expertise and through exposure in several assignments at Fortis Healthcare Limited, commencing with Executive Assistant to the Chairman in 2000 and working through as Project Leader, Chief Operating Officer, Director – Projects and Joint Managing Director, before becoming the Group Managing Director in 2006. He is a fellow of Aspens India Leadership Initiative and on the Board of visitors of Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, U.S.

He held the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Fortis Hospital, Mohali for two years, during which he led his team in developing a strong work culture. He also led the acquisition of Escorts Heart Institute & Research Center (EHIRC), the largest acquisition in the history of healthcare in India, to make Fortis the second largest Healthcare network in India and the biggest cardiac program in the world.

Shivinder is the Chairperson of Health Services Committee of FICCI and Member of the Indo British Partnership (IBP) Board of FICCI. He is also the Chairman of Delhi State Council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

An alumnus of Doon School, Mr Singh graduated with a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and holds an MBA degree with specialization in health sector management from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, U.S.A.

Mr. Sunil Godhwani
Sunil Godhwani, CEO and Managing Director of Religare Enterprises Ltd., also oversees the IT business. He is a driving force behind the company and is responsible for the organization's strategy and growth in end–to–end IT solutions segment. He spearheads the company’s management and global operations; guiding it through its next phase of growth. Mr. Godhwani brings to the company strong leadership skills, coupled with new vigor & passion. He has a diverse and wide-ranging experience of over two decades in the corporate sector. Mr. Godhwani has given strategic direction in Religare’s growth since his joining in 2002. He has been instrumental in establishing Religare’s vast network and shaping the Company’s strategies in India and abroad. He is always on a constant lookout for taking the Company to new heights by managing various acquisitions, finding new partners for joint ventures and scouting new avenues for the business.

Mr. Godhwani is the Chairman of Religare Finvest Limited and Religare Commodities Limited. His current board seats include Religare Securities Limited, Religare Wealth Management Services Limited, Religare Venture Capital Private Limited, Religare Insurance Holding Company Limited, AEGON Religare Life Insurance Company Limited, Fortis Financial Services Limited, Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, Regius Aviation Limited, SRL Ranbaxy Limited, Religare Venture Capital Private Limited, Regius Infotech Private Limited, Religare AEGON Trustee Company Private Limited, Religare AEGON Asset Management Company Private Limited and Vistaar Religare Capital Advisors Limited. A graduate in chemical engineering, he also has a master’s degree in industrial engineering and finance from USA.

Mr. Padam Bahl
Mr. Padam Bahl has been practicing as a Chartered Accountant and an Income Tax Advisor since 1979 and has more than 27 years of work experience. He was the Chairman of the Northern India Regional Council, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Amritsar Branch for the year 1998-99. He was also a member of the Income Tax Advisory Committee, Amritsar Chapter during the years 2002-03 and 2003-04.

Mr. Bahl holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Kurukshetra University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also received a Diploma in Information System Audit from SSI, Amritsar.

Mr. Vikram Sahgal
Mr. Vikram Sahgal has professional experience of around 27 years in the engineering field. He is a Member of the Managing Committee of PHDCCI and also a Member of the National Committee of Defence of the CII. Mr. Sahgal is a Mechanical Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.

 

Dr. Preetinder Singh Joshi
Dr. Preetinder Singh Joshi has over 32 years of experience in medical profession in India and abroad. Dr. Joshi is an eminent Cardiologist and is presently working as Director of Maharaj Sawan Singh Charitable Hospital, Beas (Punjab). He holds an M.B.B.S. degree from Medical College, Amritsar and M.D. degree in Cardiology & General Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. He is also a member of Royal College of Physicians, UK.

 

Mr. Maninder Singh Grewal
Maninder Singh Grewal, CEO - Religare Technova Limited, is a veteran of the IT Industry since over 28 years of experience. He has been involved with growth and evolution of the industry from Compaq portables to mainframes and from DOS to the Apple OS.He has substantial general management, sales and marketing experience in the IT industry. His skills lie in strategy formulation as well as implementation and execution excellence. He is well known and respected in the Indian IT Industry. Mr. Grewal is responsible for fueling the growth engines of the company by providing strategic business planning, conceptual as well as technical inputs. He is a mechanical engineer from IIT Kharagpur.

Mr. Harpal Singh
Mr. Singh has had a diverse and wide ranging experience of over 33 years in the corporate sector and has held senior positions in various TATA group companies, Hindustan Motors Limited, Mahindra and Mahindra Limited and Shaw Wallace. Further, Mr. Harpal Singh is and has been on the Board of many premier educational institutions, including Doon School and Shriram School, and an Advisory Board Member of the SRM University of Chennai. He is also a Member of the Punjab Education Board.

Mr. Harpal Singh has also been a member of several Government Committees and is presently a member of the Punjab Chief Minister’s Advisory Committee on Industrial Growth and Development of Relevant Infrastructure. Mr. Harpal Singh is National Chairman of the CII Committee on Public Health, a member of the CII National Committee on Healthcare and the National Committee on Primary and Secondary Education. Mr. Singh is a Member of the Resource Persons Group for Delhi on Healthcare, appointed by the Lt. Governor of Delhi.

Mr. Singh is also a member of the India-UK Round Table and is an invitee speaker in many spheres. He has chaired the 2nd and 3rd India Health Summit in New Delhi and was invited to speak at the Royal Institute of Great Britain on Integrating Global Healthcare. As a member of the US – India Strategic Dialogue in December 2005, he presented a strategic opportunity position for collaboration between the U.S and Indian healthcare systems.

Mr. Harpal Singh, graduated with a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and holds a B.S degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in public affairs from California State University at Hayward (C.S.C.H), California, U.S.A.

Mr. J W Balani
Mr. Balani is engaged in the business of export and import of white goods. Mr. Balani is currently associated with Atari S. L. and Time Concepts S.L. He has more than 39 years of work experience. Mr. J. W. Balani has undertaken studies at Broadhembury College, Somerset, U.K.  

 

Ms. Sunita Naidoo
Ms. Naidoo specializes in orthodontics. She has been practicing in the UK for past 13 years. She has helped set up and run a reputable practice at Clapham, Bedford 7 years ago.
